Planter Warts : all of April and most of May, 2013

So.  Planter warts are really annoying.  I never had them as a kid, but apparently they are super common, and people in both our families have had them.

For a girl who is always running, swimming, climbing, biking, and playing, Lilah didn't complain much at all about the pain that she was feeling from these, but it was clear that they hurt.

After unsuccessfully trying (TWICE) to freeze them, we started buying the over-the-counter planter wart medicine and wrapping her feet with breathable (for her skin) tape every single day.

This lasted for almost 6 weeks.

The poor girl couldn't swim, couldn't play barefoot
(and this was during the one serious heat wave the East Bay got this year)
and never complained about it.

Eventually, they started falling off.

For future reference, if you or anyone you know gets planter warts, use the medicine, and then after a while, go to the ocean and run around in the sand and salt water barefoot!  Warts hate that, and will come right off!!!

Lilah lots all her warts over a period of 2 weeks, at 2 different beaches on the California Coast.

And we are done!
