lilah's first visit to a hotel

we stayed at the Isles Inn in Portree.  

it's a hotel that is situated above a pub, which is amazing.

i told lilah that hotels are places where you can stay up late and eat chocolate and custard in bed, so here is a picture of lilah staying up late, eating custard in bed.

i'm true to my word.

road trip

after our easter party, we went on a road trip up the west coast to the isle of skye

we passed through rannoch moor, glencoe (it was raining), fort william 

(where the train journey to hogwarts in harry potter was filmed), 

and then crossed the bridge to skye

on the way, it was very snowy

but the snow lay on the ground, and wasn't falling, thankfully

8 september girls

ok.

this is really strange.

all of these girls are born on 8 september.

lilah and neve are born on exactly the same day - 8 september, 2007

freya's birth year is 2005

but how bizarre is that?

we knew about lilah and neve before, but only discovered freya has the same birthday on the day of the party.  

and look, they've independently chosen to dress themselves in gingham.
