Lilah needs her own camera

rock star

again with the perspective!

the real reason lilah got hold of the camera in the first place... cause mom wanted to sleep for five more minutes. bad mom! bad!

this balloon has an LED light in it and was acting as a night light for us. all that was missing was the disco ball.

don't get lilah any more barbies.

ever.

thanks.

thanks, josh and steph

because allowing lilah to colour on walls just wasn't enough.

view around the table at the top of the garden

steven's rockin the sweater-for-a-hat look and terry is just laughing at him

this is such a great example of the Johnny/Elena dynamic: Johnny, present in t-shirt and sunglasses, and Spanish-blooded Elena, wrapped up in a sensible down jacket. the difference between the way Scots perceive weather and others perceive weather is thus:

because the sun is out and it's not raining, (that's no reason to assume) it's going to be warm

lilah, as you can tell, is inherently scottish

a visiting californian: the lovely and wonderful Steph came up this weekend to say hi. she and terry were also suitably wrapped up for the brisk, but nice spring cake-eating weather

Steven's surprise party afternoon

this is the back of Johnny and Elena's new house in Westerton (apparently Glasgow's first suburb), where Lilah, Steven, Stephanie (woot woot!), and I went to "drop off some of J and E's things" on Sunday... but really, we were going because we were having a surprise party for Steven's 42nd birthday

here is Lilah, sneaking up on some rosemary

and coming up on the deck

i showed lilah how to rub her fingers on the sprigs to smell their flavour

pull ups

yes, that is what it looks like

Lilah's pictures

this is the Don't Hit Mummy's Plant tree

close up

probably the best picture we have of Tia Masala

better perspective than i can dream of ever creating

and more of the plants

cutie kaleb

this is Lilah's wee cousin Kaleb (Steven's sister Linda's son)

he's a pretty cool dude

looks a bit like Steven did as a baby... notice the square-ish head.

guess it runs in the family.

(let's not mention anything about Lilah's silly face and see if she does it again)
