energy to burn

running up and down hills...

and why not?

after such hard work, we had to stop for an ice-cream

ooh! busted!

wasn't my idea...

number 3) the tire swing

remember what i said about the trampoline being the best toy on a playground? i retract that statement, as this is by far the best invention, ever, for playground amusement.

lilah loves it!

we were on here for about 30 minutes.

and only got off because some other (older) girls wanted to come on to swing.

the spinning, continued

here, lilah does what she does best: joins in, and hangs on.

number 2) the spinning one

perplexed, but intrigued, lilah crouched down to observe the older girls going round and round.

outing with mum to pollok park: 1) trampoline

isn't this a cool idea?

why don't all parks have built-in trampolines?

chicken pox?

we went to Rupert and Amy's on Saturday and played all afternoon.

there were naked toddlers toddling about and screaming with delight.

there were a couple of red spots on Theia's belly, but they have a large Yellow Lab, and the fleeting thought of "chicken pox?" was just that.

only the next day more spots appeared.

and on monday we got a text: Theia's got the Chicken Pox. Lilah may have been exposed on Saturday.

oh really.

nothing so far, but apparently it takes a few weeks before showing it's bumpy, itchy face.

welcome to the joys of parenting!

(will post with pictures if / when it happens)
