Scotland on a winter's afternoon...

Merry Christmas
To you,
Thank you for keeping abreast of all things Lilah on this wee blog. It is always a pleasure to hear that it has been visited, and to hear that you know what is going on because of it. I wish that I could be more on top of it sometimes, and add pictures daily so that there is a real continuity to Lilah's growth, but life really gets in the way! It is a New Year's resolution of mine to get it together and update a few times a week. Maybe come 2013, I'll be able to do the once-a-day thing...
I wish you the very best in 2012, and hope that all your Christmas wishes come true. Lilah seems to be pretty chuffed with her gifts from Santa, and the fact that she and I get to spend every day for the next 2 weeks together. (So far we've been face-painting, swimming, and to our winter outdoor carnival in the city centre, but the holiday is young yet!)
I'm trying to do some positive thinking about the potential for 2012, and would really appreciate any additional good vibes that you're willing to share our way -- Steven and I spent 2011 working extremely hard with not much to show for it, and I, for one, think it is time for Steven (at least) to get acknowledged for his talents and abilities. So please wish him well in the search for new employment... unless you know of a job that's going...
In closing, LilahTime will continue until Lilah says "hey mum, you better stop that shit. it's getting embarrassing. my friends are looking."
tee hee...
maybe...
With love,
Lauren

Apple Hill is wonderful for kids
you can go to jail...

keep driving tractors...
and ride more ponies!
more shots from Mission-North park
also known as "Lilah's park"
it's hard to get a good shot of someone in motion on a swing
i applaud those that can:
good on you, keep up the good work

Well done, you!! You were an absolute STAR for the whole wedding day. We are all so lucky to have had you be a part of such a fantastic celebration. You made it even more special.
I love you.
